    just got a netgear dg834n router can someone help me set it up i tried to set it up myself but the set up wizard says the computer does not detect the router.
    i no nothing about setting up stuff like this

    please help thanks

    Hi.

    I suppose you are using a LAN cable from your laptop to the router, So that you can setup the WiFi make sure the access point is Enabled.

    Once connected type 192.168.0.1 as an address in your browser, I think the default log-in user and password is admin for both.
