i have a dell vostro 1500 with the 1505 PCI Express WLAN Mini Card. Im experiencing extremely slow internet speeds and lan speeds. I have two other notebooks in my house with intel wireless cards and have no problems. Also im using a belkin n1 wireless router. Does anyone know what the problem is an how i can fix it?? thanks a lot for any replies

Have you visited the Dell support site and checked for updated wireless drivers?

Which wifi card do you have in the 1500, and which cards do you have in the other laptops? Please be specific and list the model numbers.

If you were using WEP, Vista does not play well with it. Setup WPA(2) Personal (AES), with a min 20 chr random generated key. Don't use the router as a proxy server. Meaning do not use site blocking feature. No need for MAC filtering if you have a good security key.
