Hello i was wondering if anyone could help me out and i would be greatful for anyones's advice. Recently i purchased a LG X110 Netbook from ebay and i received it running Windows XP. It seemed to have some viruses on it so i uninstalled and reinstalled windows xp on it and i now have a problem where i can not find the driver for the wifi. In email LG said they dont provide support for the drivers for this model because this wasnt released for mainstream retail and was only to be distributed with mobile phone contracts. I have also looked everywhere on google and they seem to all redirect to the drivers on some site called notebook driver dot com and most of those drivers have worked (i get internet when i plug a cable to my router) but the wifi driver does not work. it says it isnt supported by the operating system. The LG updating tool doesnt seem to run either. So i was thinking if there is a way to identify the type of network card in the machine without me actually having to open it up, then maybe i can google the drivers for that card and then install them to have the wifi working. Any thoughts?
