I have problems connecting wirelessly...My computer developed this problem yesterday...Here is the problem whenever I open up my computer the little wireless icon just keeps saying "acquiring IP address" and never does acquire it...I thought it was the router however my other laptop is fine, then I tried the wired method it works fine, so is my built-in wireless card the problem? Thanks!

Reboot (power cycle) the router and see if it clears up.

Spelling is not a problem, new what you were trying to say. This can be auth failure, too. Also check your firewall settings. Does your SSID show up on available networks? May delete location and add it back in.

I just ran into that problem while setting my routers to broadcast on specific channels. Im running Vista, so all I did was delete all wireless connections, then add new connection using available wireless network. Entered passpharse and there it was.
