I thought that I had used my laptop for this previously but maybe I had only used the lan port to input internet into my laptop.
Anyway I can't use that lan port to send out the wireless signal my laptop picks up. I have tried everything I can find to allow that, including property settings for the wireless. I have no share tab for the lan adapter. I have reinstalled the latest driver for that adapter and still no go. It could be that the driver doesn't allow that. If so is there an aftermarket driver that will allow this?

What's funny is I use my desktop that has a wireless card in this manner and it allows it without anything set for sharing when I looked at that.

    Any ideas or info? Thanks.
