This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     file sharinng -files not opening vista

    ok a little help please

    i have mananed to set up a file sharing folder by two vista pcs.
    one a hard wired pc to router the other a wirless laptop.

    on the hard wired pc i can broswe to the laptop sharing the videos folder but when i click on the movie to open it just seemes to do nothing. just the hourglass keeps spinning. any ideas please.

    no worries sorted it . was a fault with media player . all movies play ok using zoom player
