Just noticed a title typo eAMD, I mean AMD .....
    Two thoughts:

    First thought:
Just curious if it is possible that it can use an Intel Wireless module of the 1xxx,5xxx or 6xxx linage on an AMD chipset.

    Second thought:
The laptop has no known whitelisting.

It has a 3 dual band antennas with ipx jacks installed.

A list of alternative mini-pcie half form factor would be nice.

If there's no whitelisting it won't matter if it's AMD. It might matter what individual model of laptop you have. And pay attention to how many antennas you need. Some wifi cards need three antennas. You likely don't have three antennas in your laptop so avoid three antenna cards. It might prove useful to know which model laptop you're talking about.

There is no model because it is an engineering build from out of savaged parts I found in the electronics trash bin, that are in very good condition.
Even though what I'm doing isn't really cost effective anyways. But I'm doing it anyways cause it seem interesting project to me.

I'm getting a BSOD 0x0...0D1 with Intel Wireless Cards for some reason. I only seen 1 issue report about it so far. So I like to know the technical reason why.

It seems to work fine with Non-Intel Wireless Modules. So I'm up to suggestions.

I'm thinking of using an AR9380 based chipsets but they are not really out there in mpcie half height forms.

    Cool.

I'm also looking at Broadcom BCM4331 based chipset as well.

But the info I got from it that they are vender locked at the moment.
