im going to be attending a UC (University of California), and i was wondering if they block the ports so you can't use bittorrent?
if so, what are some ways around it? proxies wouldn't do anything.
is it possible to use a wireless router?

also, did you receive any warnings / repercussions for downloading stuff or using BT? i plan to stay away from limewire (spyware ftl). and i tried usenet and didn't really like it.

If they block torrents, that is a policy decision on the part of UC and we cannot help you overcome that.
