well, i have a b130 with a built in dell 1370 wireless thingy. When i go to the site to change the settinmg of the router, i click on WEP, and then save the setting. I go to my laptop, connect to the wireless connection, but it doesnt as k for a WEP key, it just starts to connect, but it cant. When its on WAP or w/e, it asks for a password key or w/e, and connects perfectly. The only reason i wanna do WEP is because thats what my PSP can connect with. It doesnt have WAP. Why is this?

If you right click the wireless icon in the task bar and hit view available networks, does yours show a lock?

What do you mean? I'm terribly confused by this. You see your network twice? Try posting some screen shots.

So am i, maybe try this:

Have WEP or WPA Disabled so there is no security.
Double Click the wireless connectiod in the bottom right system tray. ( The one with the computer and the signal)
    Hit Properties
Out of the 3 tabs hit "Wireless Networks"
Make sure your network you created is highlighted, and click properties.
In the "Association" tab have "Network Authentication" set as open.
And have the Data Encryption at "WEP".
    Then set the network key.
