I got a brand new dell xps studio 1467 and everything works perfect except one thing. I can't turn the wifi on. I read the manual and it said to tap the button on top of the key board that looks like an antenna but when I do the wifi light doesn't turn on. It says its still disabled. I think I might be missing the wireless drive or a setting is wrong because all it says it plug in ethernet cord but nothing about wifi. I can't figure out how to turn it on or anything. It came with a disk of drivers that said are already installed on computer, a windows 7 cd but I tried reinstalling windows and nothing.

Go to the device manager and see if Wi-Fi card is detected if it is- does it have a yellow exclamation mark near it or not.
While you’re at it check what card it is and what driver version it uses.

There is no wifi car or anything that says wifi under device manager. Under network adapters all it says is broadcom netlink gigabit ethernet.
