I want to run synergy with my laptop and desktop. I know that crossover cable will allow me to transfer files between them, but will it sufficiently network them to allow me to run the synergy program between the two?

    Thank you.

I'm not familiar with "synergy" but yes a crossover cable would be the same as hooking them to a router and networking that way.... well its not, but you won't see issues really. Its just like having a 2 client network.
