My cordless phone knocks me off my wireless router? Why does this happen and is there anything I can do? [V]

Your microwave can knock you off, too- depends on model. The way around all this is to change the channel on your router as previosly suggested. The last option, should changing channels not work, is to use 802.1A, which operates at 5GHz (I think), rather than the busy 2.4 band. however, the A routers were really expensive last I looked.

Edit: another choice is to go buy one of those "older" 800 or 900 MHz cordless phones. I have one from panasonic that's nice.
