    Hey Guys

I just got a new Dell computer with vista that came with mcafee pre installed, for some reason when ever I try to use p2p sharing files, like ares or utorrent firefox & internet explore stop working.

and plus I not evening using a wireless router

I don't know why this is happening.

ares when connected has a slow download speed
or the download will stop because ares can't connect

I haven't had this problem when I was using windows XP
    with my old computer.

Is your BT software Vista approved?

Also make sure McAfee is not blocking your connections.

By not working... do you mean the webpages do never load? Most any kind of P2P file sharing has been known to monopolize bandwidth. The most effective solution in that case would be to enable Quality of Service on your router.

I use Comodo, but with and FW you must know how to allow different subnets to be granted access.
