    Hey

You know the two symbols in the far bottom right of your PC or Laptop it has two screens showing connection.

Mine used to pop up as soon as it all loaded, but I have had to do a system re-start and I am wondering if I have deleted something that I shouldnt have, But anyway, It takes a solid 3-5 Minutes before it comes up with the connection, during this time it just has the red x through it.

Can anyone offer any sugestions on what I can do as it was not like this before and I have not done anything different.

    Thanks so much guys.

Look Here! Check out #4, but do at your own risk. I'm thinking the computer's performance is just degrading slowly as you use it overtime. That link has a ton of tweaks to speed it up.

You may also have inadvertently corrupted the device drivers for your wired and wireless NICs; first check to see if either device has a yellow exclamation mark next to it in the device manager. Also, check to see if anything shows up in the event logs; if something's timing out or taking way too long to get its act together, an event log entry should be generated.

Other than that, download the latest drivers for the NICs, uninstall the current drivers first, and then install the new drivers.
