I just received my W3J computer, and everything is working fine, but for some reason my internet connection seems to come on then go off again.

Its never a problem with my quality, as it is always strong, but sometimes i'll lose signal strenght, even if i am sitting right next to the router

    I'm confused

btw, when it doesn't work, it says the whole "low or no connection" if that helps, i doubt it will

The W3J is a great a machine. There are a couple of reasons why. First make sure that your drivers are up to date, check the Asus site to see if they offer any alternate drivers. Or you can do a search here as well. Also try switching the channel your router is using, usually it goes from 1-11. Try switching channels in your router settings, under wireless options. One last thing that could be causing interference is if you are using a portable telephone or microwave. I would first test the drivers.

Turn off Wireless Zero Config in your services. It makes the laptop continuously search for wireless networks. If you have several networks around you it can be a real pain.
