    connected but not connected icon shown

    we just installed linksys wrt54gl router and it works.. first i thought i cant connect because the status says not connected but i have access to the internet.. so how can i make the icon show correctly? before we had a belkin router and the icon always showed the status correctrly. my siblings dont have that problem, its just me.. any idea?

    Double click the signal bars in taskbar,click properties>click show icon in notification area when connected.BTW this is in XP.

    thx for replying.. the box is already ticked.. i unticked and reticked but icon didnt change..
