For some reason iPhones don't work on my college's wifi grid :( , is there any way I can remedy this?

Only by talking to your college's IT department. Either the network is incompatible with iPhones or they've intentionally locked them out; either way, the only way to know for sure - and more importantly, the only way to make sure you have permission to connect your iPhone to their network - is to ask the college's IT department.

Sometimes if you manually enter the network name/info on the iphone it will connect. Try it, it has worked for me before at other occasions.
