It might have to do with the performance settings... but I dont know how or even if you can customize them...

I have an ASUS F3Jm with the little 'turbo button' I guess you can say. It determines better save mode, super performance, high performance etc... well, like the title says, I need the AC plug to be in to be able to get a connection going well enough to do anything. As soon as I take it out, no inernet.

    Any suggestions?

Oh yeah, and I think my headphone jack is already broken... stuck in place to be more precise. So I have no way of using my laptop's system speakers anymore. any suggestions for that one? Or am I just going to have to take it as it is now?

I appreaciate the help and that you took the time to read this!

well for headphone you could take laptop apart and try desoldering the headphone jack. Have you tried the power profiles for your wireless maybe set it to desktop or always on.

nah, nothing broke off in the jack, its just stuck on. Prolly some little set of prongs that are stuck.

Thx for the suggestions, I'll try that.
