    Hi,

I was completely fine using my laptop to connect to the internet wirelessly. Then I removed some programs in the Control Panel/Add-Delete Programs. I must have deleted more than I needed to because now I can't connect to the internet any more, even though I can still connect to the web on my desktop.

    Please help.

    Thanks,
    Joe

No, I can't either. All other PCs and Laptops at home work just fine except this one. :(

Are you pulling an IP? If you're running XP:

Start/Run/ Type CMD and push Enter

    At the command Prompt type:

    ipconfig and push enter

If I'm dumbing this down too much, sorry

What does it say under IP Address?

Don't post the whole IP address here just the first 2 sets of numbers.

Are you running System Restore? Restore your computer back to right before you removed those programs. I know people hate System Restore as a resource hog but it saved my a$$ on my company issued Toughbook after I tried to upgrade the video driver. *Disclaimer* I have heard stories of System Restore not working properly so use at your own risk but if you're system is working properly, ie. no blue screens, etc. The restore should go off without a hitch.
