looking for a new cable router. I want the fastest and cheapest cable router that has descent range, but more importantly speed. my laptop supports draft N, but my desktop does not. the desktop is using a usb dlink wifi adapter with up to 54mbps. I'm using a splitter to split the cable to my tv. so what's the best cable router for under 100$?

It won't matter. Cable tops out at far less than 54Mbsp.
