hey folks. can anyone give a recommendation on this? usb is cheaper but sticks out the side of the laptop. pc card is expensive but flush. what about power? do pc cards eat battery life even if they are not "running," i.e. bluetooth is off?

I would recommend a third choice. The Socket CF card. It sits nearly flush and works well.

If Bluetooth is off, it won't sap power.
