    Hey, I was wondering whether or not anyone uses their bluetooth cell phone to connect a laptop to the internet on occasion. It's definitely not a long term solution, but I'm just curious to hear from others who've tried it and what the expense of using it may be when absolutely neccessary.

    You can only use laptop as headset when it is connected to cell phone.

    I have use my iphone tethered to my laptops via bluetooth & the usb cable many of times.
    It is easy and a fast way to get online when you have no hotspot/wifi around.

    The usb cable way keeps the phone charge up...
