I can load bluetooth just fine, I open up BTTray and enable it. I try to add a device, but the bttray crashes/minimizes without warning or indication that it crashed. I reopen bttray, nothing happens. I remove it from Task Manager, reopen it, nothing. It's not even on the bottom right of the task bar.

    Any ideas?

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but same deal.

    I'm using Dell Inspiron 1520
    Win Vista 32bit
Dell Truemobile 355 Bluetooth + EDR

Update the driver- I'm pretty sure Dell uses Broadcom chip.
If there are no newer drivers on Dell support website you can download drivers directly from Broadcom.

Broadcom is the wireless adapter, I believe. Not part of the bluetooth?

"The program cannot upgrade your software".

Oh well, thanks for the link anyhow.

I tried updating through Dell site, but same deal.
