    best ebay seller for atheros 5008 card?

    anyone by these from ebay. i love these cards but my distributor doesnt carry them any more and am thinking about swapping out my 5300 but i see so many variations on ebay. has anyone bought these and can i ask who was the seller and is the card legit? thanks

    I have the Atheros AR5008 in my T60p Thinkpad. It does work great, but my Intel 5300AGN works quite well, too. And I do use 802.11n! I've used it for 2 1/2 years. What are you expecting to gain with the Atheros card?

    for some reason this one laptop doesnt like the 5300. it randomly disconnects itself and requires a reboot. ive tried 3 different 5300's in it and various drivers from old to new ones with no luck. changed the power settings etc been through it all. i testes a freinds atheros card in it and issue is fixed.

    how would you compare the two crunch as far as overall strength and reception wise?
