Anyone have any suggestions on a cell phone company that you like or not like. Don't mention cingular....they screwed us royally. I am looking for something that has good coverage, could use cell phone and laptop via blue tooth with out having to pay anything extra other then data plan on the phone, and good customer service would help.

This is a VERY subjective subject. The "best" carrier for you may not be the "best" for the next person. It is somewhat like laptop mfg'ers. They all basically make the same laptop, but we all find reasons why we don't like one or the other.

The most important thing about a mobile service is coverage. The "best" phone/plan/customer service is worthless if you can't get a good signal. This is becoming less of an issue as carriers are constantly improving their coverage. Your only other choice right now with the same type phone (GSM) is T-Mobile. Otherwise you have to move to CDMA - Sprint or Verizon (thought you already had Sprint??). Sprint has the best plan prices and THE best data plans for the money. Verizon is sort of like Apple, they lock down everything they can on their phones. They all can have good customer service or bad, just depends on your tolerance. I have had Sprint for over 10 years now and have had a great experience overall - and now they give me a lot of freebies to stay with them.

I think everyone has a 30-day return plan now, so it might be worth it to try out another carrier (or 2) and see how they work for you. if you don't like it on day 28, return it and try another one!

Verizon is probably the best, especially for its greater coverage, they also cover part of Canada believe it or not. Also consider their current and future data plans, soon they will be offering, WiMAX or LTE, they will rock the heavens with them.

    In my opinion:
I use Verizon, because where I live, I get the best reception with it.
And, I have tried all the other carriers, and found Verizon to be the best for my needs. :D

I chose Verizon because of this, as my cell phone is also my home phone. ;)

Also, I have found, that with my experience with Customer Support...the dealings have been good.

Once or twice, I had an issue that I have had to "escalate". Neverless, my problem was taken care of. That was then, and this is now. ;) :)

I currently have Verizon for home landline and DSL, but both of those are getting cancelled early next week because ...

    I have Sprint EVDO

    And I have AT&T GSM

That's what I thought, I'm about to get myself one, I'm a coffeee lover, I take Colombian and french roaster, come times I like to take capuccino.

Conclusion, Verizon is evil and tasty as a doppio :D

I have a Blackberry with Nextel service... its OK, not as good as Verizon though.. The only reason I decided to go with Nextel is they were the only company that would accept me without a deposit (was only 18 and had no credit at the time)

    Verizon wanted $500..

Ill be switching providers at the end of my current contract, I really have no complaints about Nextel though, a lot of the time if I am with a group of people somewhere mine will be the only one that has service.

Verizon is getting strongly into the ptt market, so yo can get the same feature that made famous Nextel.

700 minutes, that's very small, I though you talked longer than that, I bet you must have unlimited data (IM, MMS, etc) :D
