My mybooklive NAS is asking for a username and password to an external hard drive attached to a usb port on my belkin N600 play router. I've tried every possible password and username I can think of - the one for my router, the one to my NAS - nothing works. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I'm trying to create a safepoint for the NAS so the data on my NAS is backed up to my network attached hard drive. I tried making a safepoint on one of my laptops as well too. Same deal, a username and password is request and none of my standard names/passwords seem to work.

I can though, read/write files to the network hard drive through my laptop (it shows up as a network drive in file explorer).

I didn't have this problem when I was using my old Netgear WNDR4300 so I'm sure it's a router setup issue.

    Thanks.

Anyone have any ideas on what to do?
