    belkin fsd7050 g wireless adapter

    I have a belkin wireless g network adapter and im trying to get it to work with a 64 bit windows 7 i have tried the drivers but when i plug it in it shows up under unknown device. I have scowered the internet for fixes any help would be amazing

    It's not FSD7050 but F 5D7050.
    There are several revisions of this card- from 1xxx to 5xxx.
    Win 7 64bit driver is available here for revisions 3xxx, 4xxx and 5xxx.

    If you have revision 1xxx or 2xxx you're out of luck.

    sorry about that typo it was early in the morning and i was on my phone anyways i have the 4xxx version and i have tried those drivers and for some reason my dongle still comes up as an unknown device

    Maybe you need to install them manually- via device manager/update driver and manually navigate to a proper inf file.

    just tried that i think the dongle is just busted since when i connect it windows says its malfunctioned when i plug it in

    Check it on another machine- specifically one that doesn't work on Win 7.

    i currently don't have one that doesn't work on win 7 sadly

    now this is weird i have windows 7 64 bit on my alienware laptop and my dell desktop it works with my desktop but not with my laptop umm

    So it's some sort of a Windows issue- not hardware one.

    im guessing so because i am running the exact same version on my desktop as i am my laptop and on my desktop when i plug it in it says WLAN 2.0 on my laptop it calls it an unknown device. So i install the drivers on my desktop and it works fine but not on my laptop.
