    i recently purchased a Latitude D620 and am going to be setting up an internet connection in a new apartment. can someone please assist me with determining what devices i'll need to set up an internet connection. verizon is the carrier, so i'm assuming i'll buy the router from them?..

    are there other tools i should know about?
    i appreciate any help.

    not just buy the internet access form verizion, wich will come with a modem, this will convert the telephone\cable signal into a Lan format. wich can be feed directly to your computer, or to a router then back to your computer.
