    hey

    anyone know where I can find a atheros wireless utility for my win98se box?

    I'm a complete wireless newbie.

    I just recently got the Asus G71gx-X2 and was having trouble getting the wireless portion of the laptop to work with the dlink WBR-2310 wireless router. Since that time it is now currently working but it is in basic mode, meaning the link is unsecured.

    I've noted that it runs at 54mbps, I think my router speed goes up to 100mbps.

    I was told that I would need to get a wireless utility for the win98 box and set up a more secure link from there.
