Atheros ar928x is on my asus f81se. i have changed the wifi router (asus RT-N13U) security encryption to AES so i can get 300mbps speed. but i can't connect with 2 bars. i have to have at least 3 bars to connect. if signal goes down to 2 bars, it disconnects. my driver version is 7.7.0.384.

and BTW, my CCX Diagnostics Utility was deleted when i uninstalled the driver. don't know how to get it back.

anyone who knows how to fix this? Wlan_man?

Update your wireless drivers and use inSSIDer to scan for neighboring wireless networks and if need be- change the wireless channel you are using. While doing so take a look at you signal level and its consistency.
