    well, all of the sudden my laptop has not been getting a good connection or something, and when i download something its at about 30kbps and lower. I tried disconnecting and reconnection everything, but still doesnt workn great.... Why is this?.... linksys isnt that great, way too many problems :(

    Well it depends on where you are downloading from. If you are downloading from the web and the server is slow...you are going to get slow speeds.

    If you are talking about downloading from say 1 computer or the the other that is slow and there is a problem.

    If you are downloading off a program...you will need to open the ports that the program is using. Check the websites or google it to see if you can find what ports to open.

    The download for my patches for WoW were really slow. Once I opened the ports on my router is was like 10x as fast. Try that and let me know how it goes! :cool:

    ports? where is that? also, its just if i download from anywhere. It just goes slow, even when i try to watch a video of google videos, it doesnt load fast enough... its just slow :(

    make sure its not spyware or virus on your own local machine causeing the problems
