i have a gateway 6020GZ laptop, it was getting full of junk but since i didnt have a recovery cd for it, i decided to use my desktop's recovery cd. and i now believe that was a bad idea because my my sound and driver card no longer work...
ive been searching and downloading drivers from the gateway website.. but then again i dont know if im installing the correct ones.

    please help?
    thank you in advance

do not use the gateway site, google for your wireless brand and model and install drive, if it is atheros google for atheros universal driver
