    i recently just bought a new vista notebook, and when its connected to my router , the weird thing is it only get around 1-5 mprds.., but before on my old laptop which is xp, i get 10 + mpds... can any1 explain to me why?

    What type of security are you using and what distance.

    And please provide more info as to what your setup is.
