    add wireless in my hp pavilion zx5000

    hi to all ...
    first post here .... sorry for my bad English.

    Well here is my problem ...
    one week ago i bought a used notebook hp pavilion zx5000(3 and a half year old)....
    it is in a good condition but it does not have any wireless ....
    some searching in google show me that
    i have three options ...

    1. to add a mini pci wireless card
    2 usb adapter
    3 or pcmcia

    what do you recommend me to do ...

    the specs : cpu p4 @ 2.66
    ram 768

    Some HP notebooks like one in my sig and also the zx5000 have BIOS locks that refuse the computer to boot when a non-HP signed wireless card is installed in the mini-PCI slot. This can be bypassed with a BIOS hack or by modifying the something ID of the wireless card so the computer 'thinks' that it's a HP card.

    However, I know that you can find HP wireless cards pulled from other HP laptops on ebay and that's what worked for me.
