    Lo guys

    I have an Acer Aspire 9815wkhi.

    I have replaced intelpro3945 wireless pci minicard with a DEll 1390 (Broadcom 4311 chip

    seems bios is not recognize this card, any solution for this ?

    If the device manager does not see it it will not work. Check your device manager for problems.

    yea, like blu said, it sounds like it needs a driver installed- did you right click on it and see what the properties showed- or does it show up at all?

    well maybe I posted in the wrong dept, but ok, I have mac osx , and it dont show up there, so was just wondering if it was a way of flash bios or smth, else I have to do as you say put xp back on the hd and check in filemanager, but thx anyway for help :)

    Well if your running MAC OSX on a non apple computer you are in violations of the liescen agreement.

    Put the Acer in the microwave, turn it on high, and set the timer for 5 minutes.

    Should fix the problem.

    perhaps osx does not have drivers for that card? go back to windows or put in the other card.
