    hi guys i use sony vaio s360 and a dell 700m the connection is good but now having problem my connection breaks up every 1 second damn hate it any suggestions my wifi on my main i use dlink

    You're problem seems more wireless related than Toshiba related (don't know if you have a Toshiba or not from your post above), so I'm moving it to the Wireless section.

    Regarding your issue, does it work with only one system on? Could be a problem with interference or if one is a B & the other is a G on the asme network. Turn off one system and see if just one of them work OK. If not, than try changing the channel or transmission length (opposite of what's currently chosen).

    If all this doesn't work with both units (one on at a time), it could be an issue with external interference or another wireless network in the area or maybe a possible hardware problem.

    To test to see if the notebooks WLAN cards are working properly, try setting up the 2 cards as an AD-Hoc network. This will connect each card together, without the use of the router, and see if the signal strength drops. If it doesn't, than it's related to the router, either hardware or software (firmware/settings) is the cause.
