    Can someone please recommend a good wireless router . Looking for something very reliable,high security,range,etc...... This is for a laptop in a condo bldg.I am looking to move soon ,to something bigger a Townhouse. i am new at this.

    Linksys WRT54GL (L = Linux based). As a rule you can only find the slightly cheaper WRT54G in local stores so you'll probably have to buy from Newegg, etc. If you need more range there are antenna upgrades available, I bought a pair of 9dBi antennas from a vendor on eBay. Configure WPA2 security, turn off SSID broadcast, maybe enable MAC address filtering, change the default admin password... and you'll be more secure than 95%+ of the people out there.

    www.draytek.com Cant go wrong - bought one of these after two crap Netgear experiences - and never looked back.

    Only wireless router is a discontinued model, by what I see.

    You should looking into buy a 802.11 n router (draft). It has much better range and will serve you longer

    You can also buy various models on Ebay UK. Even the old ones go for a good price becaue they are rock solid and a lot of small businesses use them because they are reliable enough to put in an office, unlike Netgear and such.

    OK. Thanks. Couldn't figure out their naming convention. Looks like anything with a G in it's name is wireless.
