    XPS M1710 Gigabit?

    First of all, i'm sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere in the forums, I've looked everywhere.

    The XPS m1710 comes with a Broadcom Netxtreme 57xx Gigabit controller, but the maximum speed you can select is 100Mb full duplex? Am I stupid in thinking you should be able to have 1000Mb?

    Sorry if this is a stupid question :)

    yes it comes with a 10/100/1000 NIC.
