    Hey guys,

My job requires occasional flights abroad (Usually to the Americas and Europe). At the moment I am using Merlin U740 Modem which is set on my sim card (And national local mobile company ONLY).

Are you familiar with any world wide connectivity solution which is not locally dependent (i.e. would “scan” a given place and simply locate&connect the nearest mobile supplier)?

P.s. – wi fi is not really relevant …

I’ve found this option.. what do you think (To serve me in the US only)?

    Thanks in advance :)

If you have a GSM cell phone you might be able to unlock it and piggy back your laptop on your phone's connection via Bluetooth or a cable connection...

That will give you the most freedom and the cheapest costs ;)
