    Hi,

I am trying to print a photo for past 2 hours from a Vista comp on my HP Photosmart C4385

i installed the drivers, i even tested the pages.. the printer is just fine.
    i also Scanned a document.

But the when i give printing command.. it just WONT work..

    its gives a printing error.

The printer is detected on the network... but somehow it ll never print from my comp.

have you turned the file and printer sharing on in network and sharing center?
have you tried reinstalling the drivers ?
also set your network location to public in windows vista

Try print from another computer if available and report back.

I agree with kuncheesh. The document size is too big!!! Just do whatever kuncheesh told you to do.

Do you have an account on the PC that has the printer or is this a true network printer? Always best to have an account on both machines that match, ID & PW.

Is your Firewall blocking your communication?

It has built in 802.11g wireless.

Have you followed all of the HP setup and installation instructions? Have you followed all of the available HP support FAQs?

I went through this a week ago setting up my first wireless printer, Lexmark 6500. The printer server showed in my HomePortal account, but computer and printer weren't speaking to each other, reinstalled a couple of times then went to the Lexmark web site, searched how to's, and found the missing step, had to enable SSID Broadcast.
