I recently purchased my first laptop, my wireless connection picked up a unsecured connection ( Most likely my neighbor), when i clicked ok, it said this connection may be visible to others since it is not encryted. Something like that. Does this mean my neighbor can spy on me? I am not stealing his connection btw, i have my own router, just testing it.

Yes, if the person knows what to do, they can trace everything you do on their wireless, even what websites and what keys you press. Some people do this on purpose to steal passwords, sites, bank accounts, email, etc.

Log into your router and set a password for wireless.
