    Hi,

My roommate recently reinstalled windows XP on my computer (after someone installed an illegal version of vista).

It's working fine, only I can't get my wireless to work. When I checked my device manager there were 4 devices with a exclamation mark next to it and different errors:
    - Intell(R) PRO/1000 MT Mobile Connection (errorcode 10, device is not working)
    - Network controller (errorcode 28, no drivers installed)
    - unknown device (errorcode 28, no drivers installed)
    - SM-buscontroller (errorcode 28, no drivers installed)

What are these, are they necessary for my wireless connection and what do I need to do to get them to work?

Don't know what to do. And I'm a complete disaster when it comes down to Computers.... :s

    Hopefully someone can help me!

    Greetz

You're going to have to hunt around for the XP version of the drivers for each of those devices; unfortunately, if _HP originally shipped the system with _Vista, it may be difficult to find XP-based drivers for it.

It originally came with windows XP, but then a dealer in Santiago the Chile reinstalled Windows after my computer crashed, I found out later that he'd installed an illegal version of Vista on my computer, so that why I decided to go back to a legal Windows XP version.

You're the best, it worked. Really pleased with it. Should have asked this questions ages ago, would have saved me alot of stress and ennoyance.
