I bought a 3250HX80 and a Netgear wireless router for my cable connection. Even though the Netgear appears to be working fine with my PC, the notebook does not seem to recognize it. In case you haven't been able to tell yet I am new to all of this; this is my first laptop. I am confused. Any suggetions? If not, should I call tech support for Averatec or Netgear? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

There is a button to turn on the wireless next to the power button.
