    Wireless problem
On 10 September I had no problems with my connectivity.
On 11 September my connectivity was spotty. I would connect and disconnect to and from my router every few minutes. This hasn’t happened before.
    Any suggestions?

Check you energy settings and make sure your power managment is not powering it down.

Do a site survey and see if you are having interference from other networks, Use Netstumbler for site survey, let run for 20 min.

Need to know if your wired is have the same problem.

I think I found the problem. Windows was trying to manage my wireless, and Intel was doing the same. Once I made sure that Intel was the manager of my wireless the connection stayed on without dropping.

i hate it when that happens.

Quick question, should we use windows to manage wireless or another program that comes with your notebook/network card? (e.g. intel, ibm access connections, etc.)

Intel's a memory hog so beware. I usually let msft manage if it's an integrated and does not come with the manufacturer's own software to manage my wireless connection.

I always use MS Zero Config, Unless there is something that the MFG utility offers that MS does not.

Example, Some 11g hardware supports 256bit WPA where MS does not. Mine did, but had one major problem. You had no way to tell it not to connect to non-prefered networks. It was connecting to everything execpt the one 10' from it.
