    Hello everyone,

I had posted a message with the subject "Fujitsu C2310 - Wireless Connection Problem" in this forum. I had been struggling with the problem for nearly two weeks and finally found the solution. The problem was that my Fujitsu C2310 laptop could not see my roomie's Dlink wireless router and because of this I could not connect to the internet. jchastain and freeman gave lot of suggestions, thanks guys :)

Finally the problem was narrowed down to one setting in the Dlink router. Its called "Super G mode". Its basically to do with dynamic packet bursting, fast frames, hardware compression and encryption, and Multi-channel 108 Mbps Turbo Mode. By default this was set to "Super G with Static Turbo". In this setting non-turbo devices cannot even see the router. So i changed it to "Super G without Turbo" and the wirless connection got established :)

Hope this info is useful for somebody with a similar problem.

Thanks for the update! Those proprietary protocols can wreak havoc. Glad you finally got it figured out.
