Hey I just installed Ubuntu 7.10 on my laptop its the eurocom m570ru divine-x built off the clevo m570ru, the wireless card in it is Gigabyte GN-WI06N-RH: PCIe mini card and I tried to install the windows wireless drivers using this guide http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=297092 and changing a few of the commands but it wouldnt work for me. I was wondering if any one would be able to tell me how to install the drivers for it.

    Ok,
The gigabyte GN series is using an atheros based chipset. Don't waste your time with ndiswrapper, look into using madwifi, or even openhal/ath5k.

Not sure what the config is like on ubuntu, on fedora we get ath5k due to bleeding edge wireless toys.

Also, check in on the irc room at freenode: #madwifi

    :)

I would give you some further instructions, but I don't run ubuntu.

Later on when I get home I will see about helping you out a bit more, doing a walkthrough like this on a forum can be a pain in the rear end.
