My wireless connection on my Asus g1s isn't working, i can be sitting right next to the router and will not pick up anything. I ran the intel diagnostic test and i keep failing the radio test. The first day i had the laptop it was working perfectly fine, the next day i try and i cant connect to the internet. Any suggestions?

Do you have security enabled on the router, MAC filtering or anything else? Usually it is a good idea to disable all of this at first to troubleshoot, and then start adding security levels back one by one until something breaks. Then you at least have an idea of where the problem is.

No offence if it works but it looks like the radio is off. Take a look at notebook settings and/or physical switch on the notebook. If a radio test fails it may mean it’s off.

thanks for the help, but i ended up exchanging it for another one and now everything is working just fine. The guy at the store found it weird how it wasn't connecting either so he just gave me a straight exchange
