Have an HP pavilion zv5000 - XP. DSL wireless or otherwise keeps disconecting and connecting every 10 to 15 seconds. Connection Status window keeps going from connected to acquiring network address as it goes from on to off. Tough when trying to download other than brief messages. Any help out there?

Go to your routers website, find Firmware/Downloads, and then pick your router and update its Firmware. This seems like a out of date firmware since your having these issues. If you can't find the firmware upgrade, post your router Brand/Model here and i'll find it for you.

Probably means there is no firmware update for it yet. You could try updating the cards drivers. Sometimes the card mafacturers drivers work better.
