I have wireless internet and it appears to be working fine. Me and my girlfriend both have laptops. She can use the wireless internet fine. On my laptop it says it connected but it does not work. I have vista and the only solution it ever does is to reset the connection but that never works.

What i do to make both computers work. Or mine instead of hers! j/k

Yes, what I'm looking to know if it is DSL, some DSL ISP use PPPoE, which needs to be setup to be able to have two computers reaching internet. Also make sure to have DHCP enable so your laptop can get an IP address and access internet as well.
