My daughter is at college and said that she can no longer access her wireless. She said she can no longer see the wireless icon on her bar to find her wireless connection. I'm thinking it is something simple. She just got the laptop so I am unfamiliar with its components. Is there a wireless switch that may have been accidently turned off? I'm not sure if this model has a switch. I would really appreciate your insights. Thanks so much ... Sherry

I assume she has windows vista so...
Navigate to the control panel>network & internet>and click "connect to a network" It has a step by step process to get her wireless connected.
Also it will tell her about the wireless switch(which all laptops have nowadays). It might be on her keyboard(Hold FN and tap F2) or a stand alone key somewhere on the computer.

Just ask if you have anymore questions ;)
